Field Staff
All of our overseas program directors are either native citizens or fluent speakers who have lived in the country for at least two years. As such, they all have excellent command of the language, a thorough understanding of the culture, and familiarity with the country that your students choose to visit. Whether organizing excursions, housing or daily activities, their skills will be extremely valuable to you and your students as you enter and explore a new physical and cultural environment.
Jembatan facilitators are also some of the most responsible, mature, well-educated and resourceful individuals in the field of international education. In addition to being Jembatan study abroad facilitators, our facilitators are graduate students, research assistants, or NGO volunteers, etc. – all of whom share a love for their region of the world and its ability to teach unique life lessons.
Jembatan facilitators fulfill a variety of roles. For example, in addition to directing group activities and providing the on-site assistance that you require, they also do everything in their power to ensure student safety. Their assistance is vital in providing a seamless experience both for the students and the university. We are very confident in our field staff and we are sure that they will meet your approval.
